In 2019 with Frank’s retirement approaching, Steve, Pete and John started looking for someone with the same character, skills, selfless dedication and experience. Steve said, “After one meeting with Rob Schmidt, I knew he was someone we wanted on our team”.

Rob was drawn to Seltzer Group Partners for many reasons. From our corporate culture, to our internal Risk Management Division led by Daniel Hayden, to our partnership with Keystone Insurers Group; Rob is thrilled to be able to bring his skills and experiences to such a powerful and diverse organization.

Rob has almost 20 years of experience in the industry, but he brings much more than knowledge of insurance to our agency:

Following his graduation from Muhlenberg College in 2001, Rob spent the first ten years of his carrier learning carrier claims and agency sales. Frank was one of Rob’s first underwriters, while working on the agency side. During the next four years Rob expanded his experiences by growing a regional document restoration company to a nationwide powerhouse. Ultimately his core an insurance agent lured him back, first to a very small agency in the Lehigh Valley, then to Seltzer.

In the insurance world, Rob finds the most important thing is helping clients succeed. He does this by educating them and providing thorough understanding of the product they are purchasing. As he works with his clients, he values the development of both professional and personal longstanding relationships.

In his spare time, Rob cherishes moments with both his family, and his community. Whether it’s volunteering as a coach for youth sports, serving on the board for the Allentown School District Foundation, the Greater Valley YMCA and Muhlenberg College, or standing on the committee for Phoebe Ministries Institutional Advancement; Rob finds great importance in giving back to those around him.

As for working with the rest of the leadership team, Steve Stramara, Pete Krammes and John Campomizzi, Rob says, “I see a vast amount of experience that I can learn from Steve as we grow together. I’m excited for collaboration efforts with John and Pete as we look to continuously expand The Seltzer Brand!”

We have no doubt that his experience, compassion, energy and knowledge will be a tremendous asset to both our leadership team and the entire agency. We look forward to continuing to live up to the standards our clients have set for us, and the expectations we have for set for ourselves.
