As an independent agent, we work with dozens of insurance carriers to provide coverage options for our clients. We are working daily to obtain updates from these carriers so we can notify you of what savings or rebate options are being offered. This list will be updated regularly as we receive word from our carrier partners:


ACUITY – All existing personal lines auto policyholders will receive a rate cut for the entire next 12-month policy term at their policy renewal. New customers will also see a reduction in Acuity’s standard automobile insurance rates. A typical customer with two cars will see a decrease between $50 and $100, depending on their unique situation. This amounts to a credit of 7% for most customers. The rate decrease will apply to all new and renewal policies with effective dates on and after March 11, 2020. Customers do not need to take any action to receive the discount—it will be applied automatically. Additionally, Acuity continues to work closely with our mutual customers to offer payment solutions based on individual needs and circumstances.

ALLSTATE – On average, personal auto insurance customers will receive 15 percent money back based on their monthly premium for the month’s of April, May and June. Allstate will automatically deposit money back to the bank or credit card account used for a customer’s most recent payment, or apply credits to accounts. Please check your payment information to make sure it is up to date. Payments for the Shelter-in-Place Payback will occur during the months of April and May for our auto insurance customers. CINCINNATI – Personal lines auto policyholders of Cincinnati Insurance and Cincinnati Casualty will receive a 15% credit per policy on their April and May premiums. It will also give credits on commercial policies for vehicles not being used when requested. In addition, the insurer is pausing cancellations for personal lines and commercial lines policyholders due to nonpayment of premium and waiving late fees until at least April 30; waiving restrictions on delivery services; providing additional risk management advice to businesses manufacturing of personal protective equipment and waiving vacancy clauses for buildings temporarily closed due to the pandemic. CHUBB – Upon renewal, clients will receive a credit reflecting a 35% premium reduction for the months of April and May, with additional discounts for subsequent months, as the situation warrants. Clients will not have to request the credit, it will be applied automatically at renewal. All premium and rate adjustments are subject to regulatory approval. LEARN MORE HERE.

ENCOMPASS INSURANCE  – Shelter-in-Place Payback: On average, personal auto insurance customers will receive 15 percent money back based on their monthly premium in April, May and June. Customers will receive the money back through a credit to their Encompass account, bank account or credit card on file, depending on how they make payments. LEARN MORE HERE.

ENCOVA INSURANCE – Will issue a 15% policy credit to more than 80,000 personal auto policyholders for the months of April and May. The company has also extended grace periods and suspended non-payment cancellations and is providing insured restaurant owners with delivery coverage. LEARN MORE HERE.

FARMERS INSURANCE – Providing relief to more than 115,000 of its business insurance customers in the restaurant, office, retail and service sectors across the country through a 20 percent monthly credit on their Business Owners Policy for the next two months on their upcoming premium notices. Farmers auto reducing auto insurance premiums by 25% on Farmers branded and 21st Century branded policies. Farmers is also temporarily pausing policy cancellations due to non-payment for business customers through May 1 and allowing extra time for business insurance customers to pay for their policies. GOODVILLE – All personal lines auto policyholders will receive a 15% premium credit for the months of April and May, 2020. Members do not need to take any action to receive their premium credit/refund. Credits will be applied to the next installment payment or refunded as a check sent to the member, depending upon payment options.

GRANGE – Providing a 25% personal auto premium payback for the months of April and May based upon the premium that was in effect at the end of March to your personal auto clients. New business policies written in the months of April or May will also receive a 25% payback that will be prorated for the time they are in effect during this period. How: Policyholders will receive their payback via check mailed to their billing address. When: Most checks will be distributed in May. New customers (April or May starts) will receive their checks in June. LEARN MORE HERE.

HARTFORD – COVID-19 Personal Auto Payback Plan, giving auto insurance customers a 15 percent credit on their April and May auto insurance premiums. The 15 percent payback will be given on two months’ worth of premium for all customers with an active auto policy as of April 1, 2020. This credit applies whether you pay your bill in full or in installments, and those who pay in installments will receive a credit toward their next payment. LEARN MORE HERE.

KEMPER – Will provide a 15% credit to personal auto policyholders towards their April and May premiums. Kemper’s personal auto customers who have a policy in force as of April 30 will be credited 15% of their April premiums in May, and personal auto customers with a policy in force as of May 31 will be credited 15% of their May premiums in June. The two premium credits will total approximately $100 million. LEARN MORE HERE.

LIBERTY MUTUAL – Personal auto insurance customers will receive a 15% refund on two months of their annual auto premium as of April 7, 2020, pending regulatory approval. The refunds will begin in April, and will be issued either by check or in the manner the customer made their most recent payment. The payments will happen automatically and customers do not need to call Liberty Mutual to receive the refund. Late fee charges have been automatically stopped and cancellations due to non-payment have been temporarily paused for personal auto and home customers from March 23 through at least May 22, 2020. METLIFE – Giving personal auto customers who are paid to date a 15% credit for April and May based on their monthly premium. The company will not cancel policies due to non-payment through July 1, 2020. Many MetLife auto insurance policies already provide coverage for people using their personal vehicles for delivering medicine or food but the insurer is extending this coverage under all personal auto insurance programs at no additional charge through May 1, 2020.

MMG – Returning 15% of premiums for the months of April and May to our Personal Auto policyholders. Pending expected regulatory approval, they will start sending checks to policyholders as early as next week. Customers do not need to take any action to receive this premium relief refund.


NATIONAL GENERAL – National General will apply a 15% credit to personal auto, RV and motorcycle insurance premiums, which will be applied automatically to those who have an in-force auto policy as of April 30, 2020. This credit will not impact a customer’s in-force coverage and will be visible in accounts in the near future. LEARN MORE HERE.

NATIONWIDE – Offering a one-time premium refund of $50 per policy for personal auto policies active as of March 31, 2020. The refund will arrive in the next 30 days, subject to individual state regulatory approval. It will be returned to customers in the last form of payment they have made, whether electronic or paper. LEARN MORE HERE.

PENN NATIONAL – Pending regulatory approval, a credit of 15% will be applied to two months of premiums for those policies in force as of April 30 in recognition of the temporary reduction in vehicle miles driven. The credit will automatically be applied to the policyholder’s next premium balance or refunded if paid in full.

PLYMOUTH ROCK – Personal Auto insurance customers will receive a 25% premium credit on Liability and Personal Injury Protection Coverages. An automatic credit will be applied to affected customers’ policies. No further action is required. Any health care worker who is an auto insurance customer and is involved in an accident while driving to or from work, or in the line of duty, will not have to pay their comprehensive and collision deductible. Continuation of our payment flexibility, including waiving of late fees and a 60-day grace period (longer in some states), holds on cancellations and non-renewals for non-payment, per state guidelines. PROGRESSIVE – If you have an active personal auto policy at the end of April, you’ll receive a credit for 20% of your April premium. Progressive will offer the same 20% credit to active personal auto customers at the end of May, and may offer additional credits in the upcoming months. There’s nothing you need to do. They will automatically calculate your credit at the end of each month, and then you’ll see it reflected in your account within a few weeks. If you have a balance on your policy, they’ll apply the credit directly to your remaining balance. And if you’re already paid in full, they’ll return the money to the payment account we have on file. SELECTIVE – Personal and business auto insurance policies will receive a 15% premium credit for April and May. The company is also providing payment flexibility and delaying policy cancellations, and making mid-policy adjustments to business customers transitioning from brick and mortar operations to a delivery service, using their property differently, or experiencing a reduction in sales revenue. TRAVELERS – Launched the Stay-at-Home Auto Premium Credit Program, which will automatically give U.S. personal auto insurance customers a 15% credit on their April and May premiums. Customers on direct bill or recurring payment plans will receive the automatic credit on future bills. Those who paid in full will receive a direct payment. LEARN MORE HERE.

WESTFIELD – Personal Auto customers will receive a 15 percent credit of their eligible monthly auto premium for the months of April, May, and June 2020.  Customers with an active Personal Auto policy as of April 30, 2020, will receive the full credit to their account in the month of May 2020.  Westfield will take care of the refund process, customers won’t have to do a thing.
