Seltzer Group Partners is proud to announce that it has been named the 2019 Pennsylvania Keystone “Partner of the Year”!
Keystone Insurers Group, Inc. was founded in 1983 when four independent insurance agencies rallied together to broaden their experience and expertise. They worked off the ideology that independent insurance agencies could offer a broader variety of specialized programs and better serve their clients if they teamed up to form an overarching organization. Keystone has grown to operate as the third largest agency partnership in the United States, has almost 300 agency partners, and has placed more than $3.2 billion in insurance premium. Seltzer Group Partners was a charter member of the Keystone Insurers Group, Inc., and still proudly operates as a partner of Keystone today.
The Partner of the Year award is based off a variety of performance evaluations, which include, but are not limited to: favorable growth with core carriers, preparing the next generation of leadership now, leading change in technology advancements, engaging strategic and marketing planning to guide and evaluate business decisions, employing best practices to continually improve the operations of the business and team, brand adoption, and overall growth and profitability.
In addition to being named Keystone’s Pennsylvania “Partner of the Year”, Seltzer Group Partners is also now in the running for the “National Partner of the Year”, which will be announced at the National Conference in September. We can’t wait to keep you posted on the outcome of this determination!
On July 25, 2019, Julie Webb, Keystone Regional Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Region, graced us with her presence and spoiled us with an agency wide luncheon celebration. With food provided by the famous Roman Delight in Orwigsburg, PA, Seltzer Group Partners had attendance from the majority of staff spanning 4 counties and 6 offices. It was a great celebration which began with brief words of reflection and inspiration by President Steve Stramara, and was followed by Julie discussing the qualities and achievements that Keystone looked for in making their determination of the winners. It was an honor to be the recipients of the award, and a fantastic celebration had by all.
We are grateful for the honor bestowed on us by Keystone to receive this award, but must recognize that the organizational success comes from both our team and our clients. Our agency takes great pride in our ability to serve so many communities, and we feel lucky to have a team of individuals who live up to our Seltzer Strong Values and have grown to adopt the skills displayed by those who have come before them. Working every day to serve with integrity, trust and honesty, the employees of Seltzer Group Partners treat each client as if they were family. We hold in high esteem the needs of those who utilize our services, and work every day to live up to the expectations they have set – and we are eternally grateful for those who make it possible for us to have an amazing team ready and available to serve you!
